Therapeutic Environment

I strive to provide a warm relaxing environment for my clients that is inviting and therapeutic. My desire is to create an atmosphere that is calm and safe for the client to discuss deeply personal, and sometimes difficult issues. I employ the use of low lighting, soft fabrics, pillows, white noise, essential oils, and music to create this safe and relaxing environment. For younger clients, I have toys, sketch pads, colors, markers, playing cards, and therapeutic games to use when talking is a bit more difficult.

My faith in God and Jesus as my Lord and Savior is very important to me and I exhibit my love for our Lord prominently. When I experience difficult times in my life these symbols remind me to look to the Lord for strength, guidance, and support. I am not with without fault. None of us are perfect except our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If at this time in your life you are struggling with your faith, please know you are not alone. This office is a safe place to discuss your struggles free of judgment or persecution. My job, as a therapist, is not to judge or tell you what to do. My job is to help you discover the right path for you.
