I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of clinical experience working with various clients and issues. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (2002) and hold a master’s degree in psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University of San Antonio, Texas (2004).

I provided mental health counseling for students in the school environment. I worked with student-athletes to help them improve their game by learning to work with outside factors that negatively affect their playing abilities.

I gained experience working with adults in mandated to outpatient substance abuse/mental health treatment as a condition of their probation or parole.

I had the pleasure of working for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) on a grant-funded program integrating mental health treatment (specifically ADHD) in a primary care pediatric setting.

I obtained trauma-informed care experience working with adolescents in secured facilities for acute behavioral issues.

I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and athletes. My goal is to help clients to have a better understanding of what it means to have good mental health.
